Shapeshifter

In the stories that we read there seemed to be a central idea of being home. In the first story the woman Vera offered a ride home to a random man because she had a moment of nostalgia in the shop. I found this to be weird because there really was no telling as to how it could have ended for her, but that could be my fear of people playing a part in that. Vera was seeking out companionship as it was pointed out multiple times that she missed the activity of home in comparison to where she lives now. The topic of being home is more apparent in the last story. After learning what the title meant it made even more sense for the story to be about traveling home.
